Our story
We started with one lost recipe.
A grandmother’s cassoulet, written on the back of an envelope, thrown out by mistake. We couldn’t get it back — so we built the place we wish we’d had.
Why this exists
Every family has a handful of dishes that are really heirlooms. The soup that means someone is home. The tarte that only works the way grand-mere made it, even though her instructions were “a bit of this, a bit of that.” Those recipes do not need an algorithm, a feed, or a login wall at the dinner table. They need a book.
A real book. The kind you can hold with floured hands, splatter with tomato sauce, and hand down without a charger. The kind that falls open to the right page because it has been opened there four hundred times.
forever.recipes is where those dishes get written down once, kept forever, and bound like they matter. Because they do.
